Open the app and go to Profile → Edit allergens. You can select any combination of the 14 supported allergens: gluten, peanut, tree nut, milk, egg, fish, shellfish, soy, sesame, mustard, celery, sulphite, lupin, and mollusc. Tap an allergen to toggle it on or off, then save your profile.

TrustBite Pro removes the daily scan limit (free users get 3 scans/day) and unlocks card sharing as an image. Three plans are available: €4.99/month or €24.99/year (both include a 7-day free trial), or a €59.99 lifetime one-time purchase. Pro status applies to all profiles in your account.

Open your allergen card, then tap the share icon in the top-right corner. The card will be exported as an image that you can send via WhatsApp, Email, AirDrop, or any other app on your device. This works even on devices that don't have TrustBite installed. Card sharing is a Pro feature.

TrustBite has two scan modes:

Barcode scanner: Point the camera at a product barcode. TrustBite checks the product against Open Food Facts and your allergen profile.

Photo scanner: Take or upload a photo of a menu, dish, or ingredient list. The image is sent transiently to Google Gemini for analysis — photos are NOT stored.

Both modes return a traffic-light result: Green (safe), Yellow (trace risk / may contain), Red (contains your allergen), Grey (no data available).

TrustBite subscriptions are managed entirely by Google Play. To cancel, open Google Play Store → Menu (top-left) → Subscriptions → TrustBite → Cancel subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep Pro access until then. Lifetime purchases are a one-time payment and cannot be cancelled.

Open the app and go to Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, allergen data, and account from our Firebase database. The action is irreversible. If you have an active subscription, please cancel it in Google Play first to avoid further charges.
